About us

An ancient farmhouse dating back to 1200, Franciacorta Country Lodges was for centuries the seat of the sovereigns of Bornato’s Castle , who took care of the stables, which today house Our Restaurant.
The Farmstead, was a center of agricultural production absolving, in the ancient feudal lands, as an operational and administrative unit and represents a testimony of the aspects of material culture and human activities.
Today Franciacorta Country Lodges as Country House echoes every single aspect of the rural beauty of the past!
The Relais offers 5 spacious apartments, skilfully restored preserving its original structure and details of the time: brick and stone fireplace, tiled floor, exposed beams …Each one has taken the name of the rare specimens of centuries-old plants (Linden tree, Cedar Tree, Holm Oak Tree, Cypress Tree, Ginko Biloba Tree) which can be visited in the gardens of Bornato’s Castle.
